Question
I have an opinion question for all of you.
Recently I did a nose clip on mine and I ran into an issue on the hood. To get the inter cooler in the front section, I had to cut out the structure under the nose cone and rig in the cooler. In doing so, the hood will not close the remaining 1/2 inch or so because the inter cooler is still up too high on the intake and out going connections. It holds up the hood. I am thinking of just taking out the hood catch so I can turn the cooler down a little more to get it to fit and putting hood pins in to hold down the hood. My question is: has anyone had any experience with hood pins on a 951? Good or bad experiences? Would this look right on a street car? --Jon |

Hmm, is it too late to get a later model body panel? Late model cars have space for an IC, even NAs.

Rasta,
I probably could get another nose clip for a later model. But that would involve cutting off the current clip and welding on another one. It is an option, i'm just looking to see what are the best ones there. Mgiht be the only one that I have to go to.... |
