I just put in new sensors, and I am pretty sure that I have the right gap, but I still have no tach bounce. I have replaced the DME and AFM with an 86 (OK to do if in pairs), new DME relay, put in a used starter, used FPR (looks fairly new) used damper, used ignition coil, replaced rubber seals on fuel injectors. I am going to take out my starter and battery (12.1DCVs, dont know CCAs) and have them bench tested in a little bit. I have no idea where to look next on this car. Last time she started was in July I think, its been awhile. When it last started, it would run for no longer then 20 mins, then shut off, and wouldnt start when it was hot, I had to wait 3 hours to start her back up. I did a spark test about a week later and she was getting spark. Today I put catch can at end of fuel rail, cracked nut, and tried to start the car for a second, gas was spewing out. Shes getting fuel, most likely the right amount of pressure. Lets say the starter and battery are both dead, would the car still have tach bounce? Any advice? Thanks guys.
