I already bought a new black plastic cowl cover from Sunset Porsche ($50). I just need to pull out the blower assembly and reseal it.

I already got it off. I had to use a pry bar to lift off the seal from the sheetmetal. It is sealed with butyl rubber pressed against the sheetmetal and blower base. The front of the blower assembly has lifted off the seal and leaking water into the passenger footwell.

I will take pics later.
