I am putting a late style plastic tank in my early car. I saw a post some time ago where another guy was doing the same thing and I have searched and searched and cannot find it. Does anyone know where to find the post. I am curious how he attached the newer style transmission mount bar to the frame rails. I am not sure how to get a nut on the inside of the rail and I dont want to cut an even bigger hole in the top side to get a nut in. Can anyone help me find the thread? Or give me suggestions on how to do it?
