Not to push any buttons here but I am pretty sure you can do anything you want to do with enough effort. Someone may have said it is not a direct swap. It will not fit in over the original transmission crosmember but if you cut out the one that is in there and use the late style transmission mount it will work. Even the vent lines line up perfect. There are also some mount points that need to be added to the bottom of the floor and the strap points need to be changed.
Some people might say you can't put a v8 in a 944 also but that didn't stop me.
Anyway, it can be done and there is a thread about it somewhere that I can't seem to find. Can anyone help me?
