Hello There:

First, after removing the crankshaft bolt the pulley will come off no problem. Next, there are four (4) 10mm bolts that need to be removed. You will need a gear puller, at least I did, to remove the balance shaft drive gear and then the cam drive gear behind it. Be careful not to loose the key on the crankshaft.

Exitwound is correct; you will need to remove these to be able to do the job such as change belts and change out your seals.
