Yes, if you use SSI heat exchangers, you should hook up the heater inlets. Heater backdate ducts are available for the engine shroud, as are the clamps and hoses. On the outlet side, if you don't run heater hoses to the heater valves on the body, you should install air restrictors per the factory workshop manual to keep the back pressure up.
