Great information. That is a whole lot better than trying to figure out how it comes off and breaking something. I've been there and done that too many times. For peace of mind, I had the water temperature checked at the shop last summer and verified that the car is not overheating while the gauge was acting up. I'll rest some more when I have confidence in the gauge. Appreciate the help, UncleRay
