I was looking through a few cars I have in my yard and I noticed on one of them that the rear engine panel where the decals go looked a little funny. When I bought it a few years ago it was titled a '67 912 and I never thought twice about it, but under the dash the serial number is:
300191
Under the hood above the gas tank, the serial number was removed. Whoever did that must have forgotten about under the dash. I believe this was the 191st Porsche 911 off the assembly line. The numbers under the dash are clearly stamped, it's the paint that's chipped.
How rare is this?
