The 83 to 85 early steel control arms are basically the same in dimensions as the 85 late and 86. All of them were the early offset with mounting points/parts being same, if you use the steel A-Arm mounts. The difference is in the removable/replaceable ball joints on the early steel arms, with changeover aluminum arms the ball joints were not so easily replaced. Plus the early steel A-Arms were noticeably weaker than the aluminum A-Arms. For street only you may never notice the difference.
