TFRs are a pain, but typically they can be navigated around by timing, checking NOTAMs and/or filing IFR.
In my experiences, most of the guys that get the nastygrams from the FAA are VFR guys out toodling around who haven't checked their NOTAMS or gotten proper briefings, not the professionals.
