Where has the car been " sitting " for the 25 years ? I see you are in Michigan so I assume snow/salt exposure equals rust. I may be wrong but these cars rust if you drink water near them . If you can find a fellow Pelican in the area that knows these cars I'd suggest throwing him a 6 pack of favorite brew to look the car over. If going in blind I'd say $500.00 - $1200.00 or so. To do things right it takes $$$ even if you do the work yourself. Because it has been sitting so long fuel tank needs to be pulled/flushed/repaired. All fuel lines replaced. Fuel pump replaced. All brake calipers rebuilt and master cylinder replaced. All brake lines replaced. Body work even if you do all the prep a good paint job will be 2k plus. Have mice/rats destroyed wiring ? The fuel injection/carbs need to be rebuilt you see where this is going. Not trying to push you into not considering the car just want you to know it will be REAL easy to sink 5-7k in the blink of an eye and that's being very generous. Good luck if you take on the project.
