Okay, so the 7R at the end identifies it as the last incarnation of the magnesium case and was introduced in the latter half of 1973 as a 2.4. It was better known as the case for the 2.7, and was the strongest of the magnesium cases. I suppose it is possible it was built as a 3.0, but as I said before only a teardown will identify what you really have.
