When they get a proper conveyor system to load the hopper, that will be a major improvement.
But, the guys on the assembling platform are working like dogs to feed that thing. I'll bet it could be automated.
On a similar note, I knew a man that invented a brick or block mortar laying machine. You would place it on top of a course of block and it would trolley down the row leaving 2 rows of wet mortar for the next course. The thing almost killed brick layers working them so hard moving brick and block into position.
I think the mason's union sent him down with Hoffa, cement blocks tied to him.
