Did Danica have anything to do with this.....
"A 1950s-era military training aircraft crashed in Tampa Bay this afternoon after taking part in the Honda Grand Prix's opening ceremonies.
The T-28 Warbird, used to train Navy and Marine pilots in the 1950s, was having mechanical problems and trying to make an emergency landing at Albert Whitted Airport, near downtown St. Petersburg, about 12:30 p.m., according to a news release from the city.
The plane hit the water just offshore from the breakwater at the St. Petersburg Marina and yards from the airport runway.
The pilot and passenger, whose names have not been released, were treated for minor injuries after rescue workers pulled them from the wreckage.
Officials from the Federal Aviation Administration are at the airport investigating the crash, according to the city's release. Emergency officials are working to contain a small fuel spill from the aircraft.
The Warbird is the second small plane in three days to crash in the water while trying to land at the airport.
Another plane crashed about 4 p.m. Friday while trying to land at the airfield. The pilot of that single-engine aircraft was not injured."
