I wish to start by thanking everyone who has contributed to the site over the last 12 years as it has helped me restore my 1973.5 Targa. I could not have done it with out this forum. I don't think that any question I have ever had went unanswered.
I love my car but I am becoming more frustrated daily while driving it. The constant traffic and the rude drivers are just taking all the fun out of driving it the way it should be driven. The crappy conditions of most roads here in the North east doesn't help, the pot holes can cause kidney damage.
I am beginning to think about selling it and could use some advice.
The car has about 5000 miles on a totally rebuilt engine. I will list some of what I have done to it over the years: Installed Weber's, RS rear flares, 16" Fuchs, oil fed tensioner, adj. trailing arms, turbo tie rods, electronic ign., duck tail, H1 head lamps, 150 MPH speedo, new fuel tank and lines ( thanks to ethanol in the fuel), new carpets, repaint, new top, fire ext. w/Kruse mount, garaged for the last 12 years, all receipts for all work. Receipts are in a shoe box in the garage, I am afraid to total them up?
I still have the original 15" cookie cutters and the original deck lid. I guess what I am reluctantly asking is what is my car worth and what avenue would be best for me to use to advertise it??
I know this is all worthless without pictures. Can someone walk me through posting some?
