Mine will never go above the first white mark don't matter how hard you drive it on the hwy,cruising around town will bring up halfway between first & second marks.But if barely moving in traffic or waiting at a ligth then it will slowly move to the 3/4 mark then the fans kicks in.Ambient temp here is between 60-80 F most of the summer.
