No you don't need to bleed if topping off with a small amount of coolant,be carefull not to over fill,I keep mine just a little over the minimum mark when coolant is cold(as seen in the first pic.___the bleeder plug on an S2 is kind off in an awkard position instead of being upright it located side way coming off the water cooling socket(as seen in the second pic upper rad hose with two clamps)
