Hello dmw319,
Congratulations on the new car.
You spent a lot of time gathering the information on parts. This is commendable as many new owners are unable to understand the total concept of the project.
I will go down your list:
Do not buy #1 or #2. Pelican has the same parts for less money.
Seal kit with shaft races $106.50:

Additional cam housing sponge seal $1.50

Kevlar timing belt kit Rennbay. Sure, go for it. Kevlar belt is overkill.
Waterpump--Vertex
NO
Why? Quality bad.
********** rebuilt waterpump - Rennlist Discussion Forums
You should buy a new pump from Pelican for $303 to go along with the Kevlar timing belt if quality is an issue and money not a problem.
Pelican Parts - Product Information: 951-106-021-10-M59
Otherwise you should get a rebuilt from Zims
allzims.com for about $98 exchange with a 2 year warranty. The best rebuilt on the market done by a quality rebuilder.
Get a new waterpump bolt kit as well.
Thermostat-Pelican Get a new radiator cap as well-Pelican. Get a new radiator fan relay/switch as well-Pelican
Krikut belt tool DO NOT BUY! The tool is useless.
Get the Arnnworx tools
Home or have a shop tension the belt if you are nervous after you try. You have the Porsche "mechanical spring belt tensioner" Search. Nylor just did it with no additonal tools.
Timing belt tools. Get the flywheel lock from Pelican for $44.50 or buy it from Arnnworx when you get his tension tools.
Tune up kit. I'm tired, sure get it
Mahle oil filter---yeah! Pelican
Castrol oil. What did the PO previous owner use? Was it Castrol? If yes, yeah- I use it. Use what was in the car previously. Decide later to change.
What did I forget? A lot.
