I found a shop, Capital City Upholstery, in Montgomery that'll charge me $1,600 ($1,100 for top/shipping, $100 tax, $400 install) to replace my top w/ a GAHH glass top with the German A5 material. Or, they'll charge me $500 to install a top I bring them. I looks like I can buy the same glass top with German A5 from GAHH for $925 + $50 shipping. So I'll save about $125 if I bring them my own top. Unfortunately, they're about two weeks backlogged right now. I couldn't even make an appointment. The guy asked that I call back in about two weeks to see how the schedule looks. Guess I'll just have to seal the crack with some packing tape for now. We're projected for rain all next week.
