A good all vacuum hose changeout is in order for all 928s on the road. That old braided hose usually crumbles when you look at it wrong. I actually used 928 Motorsports length and size post and bought the silicone hose elsewhere, it came out about $10 cheaper. Carl has good stuff though and most likely better quality stuff anyways.

If you haven't done this already, every 928 needs to have an Intake Refresh. Replacement of all the rubber on the topside of the motor. The heat sealed in the engine compartment is crazy, thus hardening of all the rubber.
