On the 73 diagram, I don't see any blue/yellow wires. The closest seems to be a blue/white wire, which goes from the flasher relay to the turn signal indicators in the tach.
Black/yellow could deal with the horn, or with the brake lights.
Red/white is switched power, and goes to a lot of different components in the car, especially up under the dash.
There's a plain green wire in the engine bay that powers the heater blower fan. There's another up under the dash that carries the fuel level signal.
The green/white could deal with the windshield wipers.
If the green wire by the console has a white stripe, it's the signal for the oil temp gauge.
The four-wire connector sounds like power and ground for the center console gauges.
The two grey, black, black/white carries (among other things) the illumination for the center console gauges. The grey wires actually plug into black/blue wires (on a 74 at least), which confused the heck out of me on my car at first!
