Glad you found a couple.

Here is a post on actually "priming" a lifter prior to assembly:

Use the syringe to fill the lifters with oil at the tiny hole on the side.

When you install the lifters...
Each lifter goes back in the same bore it came out of.
If the lifters are still dripping with oil, just insert them without wiping the oil off for lubrication or use assembly lube as mentioned above.
Put a little grease or engine assembly paste on the cam lobes--again for lubrication on a moment of dry start up.

Keep the lifters from falling out of the cam by having a thin piece of sheet metal holding them in and slide the metal out at the last moment before the cam touches the head.
