I am trying to remember there is a relay that is notorious on the 930s but I think it is for the fuel pumps. Its back in the engine compartment, i was helping a friend with an 87 and that turned out to be the problem.
I wonder if you call the folks who fixed the CD box and explain if they can walk you through a test. I suspect they will want it back though.
