Keep in mind that one solder blob, or weld blob, that detaches from the inside of the tank will wind up costing you a whoooooooole lot of $$$. Six motors ain't cheap...

I know one guy from the Rennlist 914 email list who did the rust repair thing to a Six tank. He said that, figuring his time at $5/hour and adding in the initial cost of the tank, he would have come out ahead on $$ if he'd bought a new one.
