Clean it with rubber prep. and condition with a vinyl rubber care product. I like 303 Protectant.
That being said, I had to send back 2 of those last year with older production dates, both had very weird mold marks in them. Almost looked like they had been line grained with 40 grit sand paper. They were for Left Rear in my case. Porsche swapped them out no problem.
