I had a 99 black SA from new and with guidance from this forum over a couple of years, added Corbin, Ohlins, Vanderlinde, FIM chip,Induct, Power filter, HID lights and probably some stuff I don't remember. Had some great trips including down Baja and across the country with about half the usage being 2 up. Wife wanted a bit more comfort so added an 1150 RT to the garage. When the missus decided she would rather go on trips in the sports car I sold the RT. As luck would have it a trip to France on our own bikes came up and a snap decision was made to trade the S on a new K1300GT. Terrific bike actually but I always regretted trading the S. Kind of scanned the used adverts every once in awhile but nothing really grabbed me until last weekend when a black 99 S with very similar upgrades to mine was on Craigslist. Spoke to the owner on the phone, went to see it the next day and rode it home. What a great day! So far what I've found (owner was #2) Corbin, Ohlins, Remus, 5.5 wheel, shorter torque arm, Power Filter,What looks like a wider "mouth" on the air intake, steering damper (don't remember that before). Sadly I've given away the Ohlins setup I had so will start from scratch. Anyhow, fun times here. I may have other bikes but this one looks like the keeper
