VIN Experts - Do I have a '65 or a '66 911?
Look at the bottom of page 9 and the top of page 10 for a listing of information owners have given. It is more complete and accurate than anything in print or on other sites. It tries to clean out a lot of the information (mis- information) by not stating if the data was by "Model Year" or "Production Year".
If you find where your serial number plugs in it will give a good start on your car.
