GO FIGURE.... this program allows Calif folks to buy real, vintage yell/blk, Blk/Yell and Blue/Yell License plates, 2 for $50. For your 356, 912 and "early" 911's...or "backdated" later 911's. You can get "random sequential", existing (you already have...) Personalized or new personalized. This is a great deal but has one vital "RUB"....they require 7,500 sets pre'ordered before they pull the trigger and make the plates....SO, that means 7,500 car buffs in a State of 36 million people. Doable, right? But ONLY if you'all download the form from the DMV site and send in you $50. it is fully refundable if they don't sell the 7,500 minimum by 2015 ???what ever, Let's do it. This is a great thing, Let's support it.
