Calif Legacy License Plate Program...
 Well....this may have already been covered but I just wanted to "bump" it a bit. the Calif DMV has amazed one and all by doing something that is A. smart B.classic car owner friendly C. inexpensive GO FIGURE.... this program allows Calif folks to buy real, vintage yell/blk, Blk/Yell and Blue/Yell License plates, 2 for $50. For your 356, 912 and "early" 911's...or "backdated" later 911's. You can get "random sequential", existing (you already have...) Personalized or new personalized. This is a great deal but has one vital "RUB"....they require 7,500 sets pre'ordered before they pull the trigger and make the plates....SO, that means 7,500 car buffs in a State of 36 million people. Doable, right? But ONLY if you'all download the form from the DMV site and send in you $50. it is fully refundable if they don't sell the 7,500 minimum by 2015 ???what ever, Let's do it. This is a great thing, Let's support it.
