Have a '04 R1100S that starts and runs fine down the road. However, under heavy throttle, there is hesitation (not as pronounced as if coil stick out) and will "pop" on a regular basis upon a quick flick of the wrist.

Thought it was bad gas but all that has been ran out and 4 spark plugs changed. Plugs looked fine.

Valves and throttle bodies sycned at BMW shop 5-6K miles OK and from my experience with an RT, valves should not get out of wrack at 6K.

Buddy and I did sync throttle bodies with merc sticks to reduce an high idle 4-5 months ago but frankly, not sure if it was done right.

QUESTION: What are the symptoms of throttle bodies not being in sycn? What I am describing a "classic case" of throttle bodies out of wack?
