I'm looking for someone that has access to a CAD program that has a stress analysis package. The application is spinning a custom metal wheel to see when it flys apart.
I found this old thread and thought someone here would have an idea.
I don't have access to NX anymore so I need a CAD jock.
I'm making the models in SketchUp. The design is simple, not a lot of detail, just trying to find out what general thickness of material to use and if we should use AL or steel. I would guess the model could be recreated in a real cad package in < 1 hour. In NX a "sketch" could be used and then the dimensions could easily be changed.
Please PM me for leads or reply re. interest here. Thanks.
