After two years of riding with a Two Brothers system (not bad btw), I decided to upgrade elements of the S, including Jet Hot headers, and went with a Vanderlinde exhaust/chip. I read enough rave reviews of this system to go this direction. It is a great exhaust system, and the matching chip has given my S (albeit seat-of-pants), much nicer and smoother throttle response.
Dealer did the install and the technician (who is an S track day junkie) came back from the test ride
I think the rear end and pipe look great. The cans have a nice titanium look to them.
Exhaust note isn't as loud as the Two Brothers (I wanted something quieter), but they aren't that much quieter. I do like how the sound is a little more mellow and "belchier". But exhaust notes are a subjective thing.
Net, I think the Vanderlinde's are one of the finest systems out there.
