When calculating dimensions for our bastard project, i found out that 930's made 78 and later have 30mm longer rear end in order to accomodate "exploding rubber clutch". 930/34 transmission that went into those cars also has longer clutch bell-housing. Engine you got is probably from one of those later cars so it has little longer sheetmetal to fill the gap....engine itself is as long as any 911 engine , so i guess it's just a matter of fabricating new sheetmetal...
