No Andrew, coming from a racing background, I've always understood the concept of compromise (risk vs reward). We have always adjusted / compromised build specifications to suit our needs and the needs / desires of our customers.
What we don't do is to compromise the quality of our builds by using substandard parts in these endeavors once the faulty quality of the parts has been established.
