Flame ring cut heads
Several years ago i bought a set of 930 rebuilt & ported heads with flame rings and now need to use them to replace my damaged stock heads. Must I cut flame rings into the stock cylinders? I plan to use Supertec head studs and will not run over 1 bar of boost. Maybe have the channels welded and recut the face? The cost to buy ni-resist rings and cut the cylinders wii put me over budget and delay my rebuild.
