Neuro-muscular Injury? Docs?

This past May, I was riding some high speed enduro course on my KTM dirtbike. At one point, I got too much throttle while going over a tabletop like jump, and the bike came out from under me. I landed SUPER hard at the bottom of the jump, apparently directly on my backside, and tumbled several times before coming to a stop.

I was dazed, but conscious. Wind knocked out of me and in some significant lower back pain. After a few minutes I was able to get up and walk around. Rode home with my buddy in pain, but otherwise ok.

Very sore for about a week, but then getting back to close to normal. Except...I still have a sore tailbone, and the top of my glutes are still tender. Most worrisome, though, is there is an area about 4x4" on each side of my upper glutes that is still numb. I can walk, run, everything fine, but my tailbone still feels bruised and I have that numbness. When I sit down, I feel like there is something stuffed into the back of my pants that I am sitting on, like a small pillow or something. It is the muscle damage and the numbness that I am feeling.

Should I be concerned? It's been 6 months and it is still there. What kind of doc should I see, or should I just give it more time?

Thanks,

JA
