Mark Jung...posted above...is the go to guy for MFI knowledge, rebuilds and tuning. When i was rebuilding my 71E, I took my pump apart to learn, refurb, etc............I was amazed by how the pump was actually like another little 6 cylinder engine......incredible design. (check out the pic below) I did my best and then I sent it to Mark to ensure that it was done right. Mark basically took it all apart, replaced all the gaskets, refurbed, dyno tuned etc and sent it back to me as new...............I bolted it in and fired it up.
MFI is a great learning experience, made even better knowing that there are experts to back your play.
