A mouse has used my BMW R1100S (BoxerCup replica, 2004) as a house. When I checked the bike, I noticed that the cable to the license plate was damaged. The license plate light didn't work anymore.
I have replaced the cable with a new one and I am sure it has been installed correctly (there's not a lot that you can do wrong). The light still doesn't work. I used a multimeter and found out that there is no 12V on the grey/black wire at the plug under the buddy. I checked the
electrical schema and saw that the dashboard lighting is on the same wire.
When I checked, I noticed that the dashboard light is also not working. My tail-light is working fine, so my fuse (fuse 2, 4A) should be fine.
I am not sure what to check now? Is this electrical scheme correct for my kind of bike?
