Forgot to thank you guys for the responses. Thanks! Will take all into consideration.

I wanted to point out that I did find a small exhaust leak at the clamp that connects the left and right exhaust manifolds. It's sits under the front of the bike and it's a clamp on the crossover pipe. Can't figure out how to address that leak since everything appears to be mating properly. Wonder if that might be the cause of my popping.
