One of my good friends got into day trading. He would spend hours listening to experts on TV and radio and he bought special software to help him decide which stocks he wanted to buy. He was spending so much time doing that his regular business started to suffer. In the end one of his employees that was a naturalized American citizen from Cuba got interested in the stock market from watching the boss. He started buying and selling stocks and he did better by just gut instinct.
I watched all of that and I figured I did not want to spend my life as a day trader. I let USAA make the investments for me. They have a long term track record of making my money grow and a respectable rate and I don't have to do a single thing.
