My experience is exactly the same as yours....MY '87 951's clutch shudders a bit(usually when cold)...and is much stiffer than the one in my '83 na...I'll have to check again, but I'd swear mine kicks in between 3000 & 3500...not at 4000...If you get "the vibe" when you drive it...then GET IT!...I just got mine a few weeks ago...I knew it was mine the first time I drove it...I've been in love ever since!!!...Good luck!...Cus
