The LS engine has the following dimensions - roughly - I measured it in the car and it's difficult to be precise in the vertical plane due to the rear crossmember.

Using the dimension labels from the picture in the link above, the height from the center of the crank to the top of the highest metal structure on the motor (A) - is 13". Note that the manifold sticks up another 3" beyond that. From the center of the crank to the bottom of the oil pan (B) is 6". The maximum width - (F) is 20".

Based on that the Lexus engine is 5 inches wider and 8 inches shorter.
