A bunch of questions (carpet material, headliner install, window frame removal)

Hi Folks -

Running down the list of things I want to accomplish on my 911 in the near future. I want to replace my dash as it is warped and cracked. Knowing the front window will be out and my headliner is ripped I might as well slide down that slope and just finish off my interior. I have a couple questions I'd like some help on:

1. Carpet material - I'm thinking of replacing the carpet as mine is looking a bit tired. There are 3 different types of "RS" kits our host offers; Perlon, plush, and silverknit. It looks like Perlon is the type of carpet found in the trunk lining? Can anyone explain the other two?

2. Headliner install - I've read a few accounts of DIY installation and think I'd like to try it myself. How difficult is it really? Is it a matter of patience and using binder clips? Or is there some serious skill involved?

3. Front door window frame removal - The black anodizing on my window frames is letting the car down a bit. Is there a good tutorial on how to disassemble the door? I don't want to go into this blindly as I'm worried with all the multiple adjustments I'll screw something up big time.

Thanks for the input!
