I just got done a headliner in my 1980 930. I was sweating this for some reason. It was possibly the easiest thing I did in the entire restoration.
Buy yourself a bunch of those clips from office supply store. Hang headliner in car, it helps to have a second set of hands, but I did it myself.
I made sure everything was tight and in place, and let it sit like that over night, wrinkles came out and I was able to stretch it a bit more after sitting.
I did not use spray glue, but a cup and brush and glued a little bit at a time as I went around. Came out perfect.
