[Bank job bob]

I know this has been asked beforehand ,I've read the posts and looked on YouTube ,
But still have questions,
I can't get the two parted I have removed the smaller lever arm from the throwout arm shaft but can not remove the long lever arm, there does not seem to be anything to stop the throwout arm moving as I try to slide the box back but it doesn't ?
I read that I'm to rotate the bearing 90% , think that I'm just moving the outer race what is it that I'm trying to ? How do I know if I've done it ?
Sorry if I come across a bit thick , right now I feel it !
