Saw this at Rennsport - pretty incredible. I didn't think Mclaren would sign off on it.

F1 powered 930
![]() ![]() $1,300,000.00 and it can be yours. The power numbers the guy there told me are underwhelming. 575HP. For that kind of money I’d expect more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Guess it's just for display purpose but the intercooler has a lousy design to say the least, we can expect more for such a price tag...
To be compared with the Mc Laren one:

True but it sure cleans up the engine compartment !!! I think I read that it was massively de-tuned ..

The overall car is not special enough. It's a restored 930 with an up-graded engine and transmission.
For that kind of money I want something special. But I don't have that kind of money, so my opinion is pointless.

So this 930 was directly across from Turbokrafts boothe and they too had a 930 and some display motors granted they were not F-1 engines but they were not slouches. The car was Chris Hamiltons old car that went back to T/K after missing a shift at 170 mph. While i thought the white 86 was nice, thats all it was.The motor was mocked up as they couldn't start it,for 1.3 i definitely would of wanted to hear it run.I asked them about smogging the car and they really didn't have a good answer saying they have ways around it.I thought the car itself was really nice as grand prix white is my favorite.I just couldn't see spending the 1.3 especially when there was all the goodies you can get with T/K that's been proven time after time.

Saw this there as well. It was beautiful! That interior smelled so gooooooood! Don't care for the engine especially since it wasn't even a running car!! Gimme that car with a 3.4 efi turbo monster with a ruf 5speed from TurboKraft!

Actually that was a question more than a statement. Lincoln sold his car after putting the equivalent of a ivy league college education into it. Kris finally fixed it and then it was sold. I will say this,, Lincoln did drive it like he stole it. If it's the same car

It's like an LS swap but slower and way more expensive.

You lost me are you talking about 86 grand prix white car or the car in the turbo kraft booth? As far as i know the 930 at T/Ks booth was Chris Hamiltons before he sold it to a guy in Ca.I can promise the car is exceptional especially the motor. One hundred and seventy in a mile roll race and missing a shift, bad things happen really quick.
