Porsche Crest Few question on my efi build if you dont mind :)

Hi guys.

First hope you`re all fine and healthy.

1. I`m well on my way doing my long awaited efi install ms3pro and was wondering about a bov. I though i`d just have a filter off a stright pipe up from the turbo laying under the IC. Can i mount a bow there and be done with it or get a recirc bov out of the BB IC and resirc to the intake pipe?

2. It says the ms3pro fires injectors alphabetical so that means i wire according to fire order. A1 B6 etc. Same for sequential?

3. There are two TDC on each cylinder but to find my TDC compression stroke on #1 cylinder is where both valves are shut all the way through the stroke. I`m doing Hamlin sensor on the cam for sequential

I`ll be wondering about plumbing later on with adding an icv and such but not quite there. Doing wiring now.
hope you got time like a do to work on the P car because of the virus.

Stay healthy

1. No need to recirc with the ms3pro. You'll be running speed density so no issues with dumping to atmosphere.
2. You are correct, they need to be wired in firing order. For batch fire it wont matter, but its better to wire them in firing order to begin with.
3. For the cam sensor it really only needs 1 tooth to figure out which stroke its on. For mine I just installed the sensor wherever in the stroke and figured it out in tunerstudio later. Not too difficult.

I forget what your setup looks like, but the icv can just replace the AAV if you're running a 930 manifold and intercooler. With the 3.2 carrera manifold I just used the original icv in the normal location with no issues.

Thx great info there. Glad the wiring was spot on cause i was knee high in it

I i cut the original bov housing down to just bare minimum so lots is gone. Drilled and tapped for iat there. Original manifold though. Turbocraft tps and clt setup. Want to have a bov maby for sound but the not sure which one yet.

Using my coils from the xdi2 setup and wired in a quadspark to run three channels wasted spark. Not much to go now as i`ve been doing lots of oil leak stopping. Messy

K27 turbo, bb headers, standard wastegate, bb ic and rarlyl8 hooligan exhaust

Getting closer. I`ll try to add some pics

So a small holdup today as i`m fitting the IC and forgetting that i eliminated the bov housing in which the IC is mounted left side. I was thinking of either cut the bov housing somehow to get that mounts back or make mounts out of some pipe. If i flatten the ends of a pipe, drilling holes and mount that like pillars? Any suggestions?

Some pics. Almost done with all the wiring. Just a few fixes like tapping the drilled hole for the cam pickup and connecting hoses and such. Coming together nicely Installing new rs carpets while i`m at it.

Some new stuff done.

It is sooo big this engine and trans.

New carpet install. Easy to do but made a mess here and there. Not perfect but MUCH better than before. I need to figure out something smart in the rear corner because the headliner is torn and ugly.

The icv. checked it and it`s just close and open. Plumbed it with the arrow going from the IC to the intake below throttle body yes?

One line left going to FPR and the other to boost gauge and map. Boost solenoid goes from other side of IC.

My intake and the IC mount

Sound mat and stuff

Getting closer to connecting and starting. Install motor, fill gas, oil, check power, connect Odessey batteri etc et

Not the best photos

So not sure if this is interesting at all but learning a lot and just share what i got

So all good at this point and wanted to share my gauge holder with a power button. Happy with it

I`ve done the two fuse fix to fuel pumps and got the MS hacked into the blue trigger wire but will be exiting to see if the old alarm i removed is wired in there somewhere.

Coming together nicely now as i have a lot of time because of the virus.

Getting to the fun part now. Finishing and tuning. Yikes
