boost gauge reading
So I live at 6800 feet. When I power up the car both of my boost gauges stock and aftermarket , show - readings at idle and non boost running. Yesterday took the car down to Reno ( 4400 feet) not quite as bad..
I'm assuming this is normal due to atmosphere as I don't remember it when I was living at sea level. What do you guys think ?

You lose about 1 in of mercury of atmospheric pressure (about 2 psi) per 1000 ft of elevation.

Per Chris comments...bought an auto meter based kit off eBay...decent...had to add add a few fittings Ran Poly through the transmission tunnel...kit had a rubberish sleeve around the gauge that fit well within the clock hole
