022 vs 153 wur in turbo 3.0

Guys,
Recently bought 76 turbo carrera. Carr arrived good week ago and now giving her a bit of care and preparing to still enjoy it a bit before winter.
While checking CIS yesterday, we stumbled on wur, that comes from 930/68 engine - number ending with 153.

Are theee two interchangeable? Vent port that in late cars is connected to airfilter box is connected to intake here, which considerably drops down control pressure (vacuum connected to vent port lowers control pressure)
So all that said, pls.share your thoughts on wur 153 suitability for 3.0 turbo and any guidance on how to hook it up to make it work.

Thanks!
Krzysztof

The -153 WUR is an evolution from the early 911 style WUR's used by the first 930 turbo cars. The early WURs such as the -022 do not enrich under boost, they enrich in the absence of vacuum. For a bone stock engine this is fine, but if the engine is modified the -153 will add more fuel. Having that WUR modified to be adjustable will allow you to replicate the 3.0L turbo engine fuel specs for cold and warm operation.
As for installation, the side port is the vac/boost port. Simply connect that to a manifold vacuum source. The top port is atmosphere, you can leave it open or connect the the air cleaner.

Grrat, thanks RarlyL8,
This is what i thought but always great to get experts advices! We already set cold and warm values, corrrect for 3.0 on -153 wur, so thats all done.
What made me confused was that the way it was hooked up - vent port was connected to intake (below throttle) and the vacuum applied lowered the control by ~2bar!
As you said, will leave the vent port alone
Will plug that particular hose and connect side port to intake.

Will.report back how it runs and drives.

Ps. Car is mostly stock. Just the turbine itself is replaced witk k27-7200 and thermal reactors are removed.

Thanks again
Krzysztof
